The short version
What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember things between pages — like the fact that you're signed in. Some are essential to the service; others are optional and help us improve it.
Essential cookies
These are required for Helel to function. They can't be switched off in the app.
- Session & authentication — keep you securely signed in and tied to your own account.
- Security — help prevent fraud and protect against abuse.
- Preferences — remember basic choices, like which screen you were on.
Analytics cookies (optional)
With your consent, we use privacy-respecting analytics to see which features get used and where things break — in aggregate, not to build an advertising profile of you. If you decline, Helel still works exactly the same.
What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or any cookie that follows you around the web. Helel is funded by subscriptions, not ads.
How to control cookies
- In Helel: accept or decline optional analytics when prompted, and change your mind anytime in Settings.
- In your browser: block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Note that clearing essential cookies will sign you out and may break parts of the app.
